Indian Air Force conducted the Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) at various centers in all over India on 26th August, 2012 for the admission on short service commission in flying branch and permanent short service commission in technical and duty branches. On Qualifying the AFCAT Test, the candidates will be further called for the test which will be conducted in AFSB Dehradun,Gandhinagar, Mysore and Varanasi.The Candidates who appeared in this Examination can check their result on its official website which is likely to be announced on 26th September 2012. The Shortlisted candidates will be required to log in and select choice of AFSB (Place and Date) for SSB Testing. The Allotment of this Choice would be on ‘ First Come First Serve Basis
Based on the induction requirements of the IAF, performance of candidates in AFCAT as well as statistics of Reporting and Success rates at AFSBs, the cut off marks for shortlisting candidates for AFCAT 02/2012 held on 26 Aug 12 is 143/ 300. Marks scored by all candidates would be uploaded by 30 Oct 12.
