Age Limit:
The Candidate’s age should be between 18 to 25 years.

Qualification Required:
The candidate should have passed 10+2/ or equivalent from a recognized Board of Education or University or Matriculation with Diploma in Secretarial Practice/ Modern Office Practice/ Commercial Practice from a recognized Board of Technical Education and have knowledge on typing/ short hand.

1. For General and OBC Category Candidates- 50/-
2. For SC/ ST/ BSF candidates/ Women – exempted from application fee.
Note- The application form pay a crossed bank draft/ postal order for Rs.50/- as examination fee in favour of authority, payable at SBI/ Post Office.

Selection Process:
The candidate will be selected on the basis of performance in written exam, PST, short hand test, typing test, checking of documents and medical examination.

Eligible candidates may apply through prescribed application form, given in the notification, fill that form completely and affix passport size photograph on it and sent along with attested copies of all relevant certificates, examination fee, 3 passport size photographs, two self addressed envelops duly affixed postage stamps worth Rs.27/ -on each envelop with super scribing on the envelop “Application for the Post of Assistant Sub-Inspector (Stenographer) or Head Constable (Ministerial) in Boarder Security Force-2012 must be reach to the given addresses in the notification.
