EAMCET 2012 Forms and Admission Notification 2012 – Andhra Pradesh. EAMCET – Engineering Agricultural and Medical Common Entrance Test, is an entrance examination required for admission to engineering and medical colleges in the state of Andhra Pradesh, India. Other colleges offering graduation courses like BDS, B.Pharm., BSc., Pharm.D. etc. too require qualification in this exam. EAMCET 2012 is scheduled to be held on 12 May 2012 (Saturday).
Eligibility to appear for EAMCET 2012
The minimum eligibility required to appear for EAMCET are:
- A Pass in intermediate examination or registered for intermediate public examination (10 + 2 ) conducted by the A.P. Board of Intermediate Education, with appropriate optional subjects or its equivalent.
- In case of such students who appear for the entrance test, pending result of their qualifying examination, their entry shall be subject to their securing a pass in the said qualifying examination.
- Candidates should belong to the State of Andhra Pradesh as defined in the A.P. Educational Institutions (regulations for admission).
- There is no upper age limit for Medical and Engineering aspirants to take EAMCET.
This year EAMCET will be conducted by JNTU Hyderabad, important details are yet to be updated by APSCHE, we will update as the information on application forms and dates for submission are made available.
The last date for submitting EAMCET 2012 application forms without late fee is 30 March 2012; the website for submitting application forms is http://www.apeamcet.org/. The model online application form can be viewed from here.

Detailed information is provided on the website; Andhra Pradesh State Council has made necessary arrangements through help centers for assisting students to fill the application forms. We will update the details once the EAMCET application portal is up. Though many students were of the view that EAMCET should be either postponed or preponed to avoid clash with online AIEEE 2012 for now it looks like the date is same i.e 12 May 2012.
Some of the students who opted for online AIEEE 2012 had no other date left; they had to opt only 12 May 2012 due to non availability. 7th May 2012, 12th May 2012, 19th May 2012 and 26th May 2012 are the only dates AIEEE 2012 can be given online.

EAMCET is a state level entrance test conducted by JNTU on behalf of Andhra Pradesh State Council for Higher Education. Student who are appearing for 10+ 2 examination or completed 10+ 2 (Intermediate) examination conducted by Intermediate Board of Education are eligible to apply.
