Rajasthan Pre Teachers Entrance Test(PTET) Examination 2012 will be conducted by Jai Narayan Vyas University, Jodhpur, Rajasthan for session 2012-13 on 22nd April 2012. Notification for PTET Exam 2012 with dates, exam pattern, how to apply, last dates will be updated soon here. PTET Exam is held each year as entrance exam for B.Ed admission in different colleges in rajasthan. STC (General, Sanskrit) exam will be held on 6th May 2012 while Shiksha Shatri (Sanskrit) will be held on 8th july 2012 by Sanskrit Univeristy Jaipur.

PRE TEACHER ENTRANCE TEST (PTET)

The by Jai Narain Vyas University (JNVU), Jodhpur is the organizer of this exam to admit potential candidate sin B.ed courses in colleges in and around Rajasthan.

The applicants must passed 12th standard in order to write this exam. The candidates who are appearing for the final examination of 12th standard are also eligible to write this exam. The notifications regarding the exam will be intimated through leading newspaper in India and Rajasthan. The applications can be availed through online in the link www.ptetjnvu.org and it is also available in JNVU office. The exam will be conducted in April and the result will be declared in www.ptetjnvu.org and the leading newspaper in Rajasthan and India.

The admission will be carried out as per the reservation norms of the government.fo registration the applicant needs to pay Rs.2000/- at Bank of Baroda or any other commercial bank for enrolling their name for counselling.

The examination consists of multiple choice objective questions that have to be completed within duration of 180 minutes. For every correct answer 3 marks will be awarded and 1 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer. The medium of Instruction will be in both English and Hindi except for Language proficiency section. The exam is partitioned into 4 sections namely mental ability, Teaching Attitude & Aptitude test, General Awareness and Language proficiency (Hindi / English). The applicant must secure minimum 40% of marks if they want to clear this exam.
